Download and Install Multiple Apps in One Go

There are  a certain set of apps, usually free, which tech users tend to install on new machines. These include browsers (Chrome/FF/IE), media players (VLC), runtimes (Flash, Silverlight), security (MSE, MalwareBytes) and various others. However, individually downloading them and installing them takes time and isn't the most fun way of spending time. Fortunately, there's a great service to fix this.

Ninite allows you to select which apps, from the various categories, you want to download and install. Simply tick the boxes and click on 'Get Installer'. It will then do all the leg work of getting the latest versions of the apps and installing them whilst you get on with whatever else you want do. You can also run the installer again and it will find and install the latest updates for those apps. Very nice!
